FN Greene – No report – No money has been spent

VE Alan Morris – No more VE’s that we are aware of this month outside of two Flotilla vessels.

MA Walt Hartley – No sales or activity last month.

IT/CS Susan Nymeyer – Please send hours so that we do not have a backlog to post at the end of the year. New Member orientation will need another home – Liz Dingus offered her home.

The history effort is ongoing and there will be more activity this winter.

Kids Don’t Float – Materials will be collected and stored and Mike Ross will lead the effort.

PE Bob Hough announced one last class before the end of the year. The date will be forwarded via email.

OP Kontra stated that another boat was commissioned and we will have to wait until next year to get his QE rating.

Please submit dues to Sheryl Greene ASAP. Dec. 5 th is the date. Dues can be sent to Box 8893, Kodiak. $40 for one person and $75 for a married couple.

Elections: Mark Nymeyer – FC and Bob Hough – VFC. Bob will get more involved in Operations and PE and he will give more effort to that part of our future. A quorum was present and a majority elected each.

We spent time talking about next year and the challenges that confront us as well as the internal personnel that can help us reach our goals. Getting as many members qualified and trained next year is vital to the future of the unit. We continue to move towards maturing as a unit in the district.

Coastie Committee – Paula Schwarz put together a calendar of possible places where we can bring the program. We need volunteers who can be available for the elementary schools between 9:00 to 2:00 PM. If you are interested in training see Paula.

We would like to have one more Fellowship before the end of the year. If someone has a suggestion please email the FC.

There will be a New Member meeting in November – please check your email to future date.

Adjourned – 0935.

Respectfully Submitted,

Mark Nymeyer
