Fellowship Fish-Fry at the Gazebo on base

While the weather was typical for Kodiak...cloudy with some sprinkles;

A good time was had by all. Twenty three auxilliarists and their families turned out for an afternoon of picnicing and bowling at the gazebo by Jewel Beach. We had fresh caught red salmon on the grill, deep fried halibut and hushpuppies, hot dogs, coleslaw, potato salads, and some other wonderful sides. It looked like a mountain of food, and we did not come close to finishing it all off!

This Saturday afternoon of fellowship was a nice chance to sit and converse with our family and friends in the auxilliary. The kids, and many adults, enjoyed the free bowling at the Tsunami lanes. The weather held off, for the most part, and the picnic moved indoors, when the sprinkles began.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the gathering, which helps make our flotilla stronger. As always, remember to submit any undocumented hours of Flotilla or Auxilliary activitiy for our annual tracking.

Respectfully submitted,
