Please mail the old card to the district office in Anchorage or give it to Bob Hough. (You can give it to me too and I’ll pass it along to the right people). If you are interested in taking the training necessary to get this program started in Kodiak, please call Bob Hough. ComFish If you can help by manning the Com Fish Booth at any time this coming weekend, please contact Drew Herman – Tropical blue long uniform is required (Drew can help you with that too). Crab Fest Parade If you can help with the Auxiliary “float” for the Crab Fest Parade, please contact Lisa Frick. This isn’t at all difficult. Call Lisa! Safe Boating Award A Safe Boating Award will be offered to people in the community and/or commercial fishermen who have acted under the principles of safe boating practices as taught by the auxiliary. (education, rescues, etc). The committee would like input on possible prizes and/or awards. Contact Meghan Kincaid if you have questions about the Safe Boating Award or ideas for awards. Reporting Hours If you attend a committee meeting, please be sure to let Susan know so that you get credit for the hours and credit for having attended a meeting. Committee chairs should ALSO turn in a list of the members at your meetings. We will sort through duplicate hours. Meeting Date and Time Change Beginning with our May meeting, we will be meeting on the 2 nd Tuesday evening of each month (at least through the summer). The meetings will begin at 6:00 and be held in the classroom above the commissary. If you cannot attend the monthly meeting, you’ll want to be sure that you attend a committee meeting during the month to maintain your “Active – In Good Standing” status.
