Called to order 8:32 a.m.
Visitor Comments:
Captain Carmel presented a well-deserved
award to Susan Nymeyer. Captain Carmel also reminded us the hats are
available at the Exchange for $10.95. The hat is a piece of the uniform
so present a good image when wearing it. Anna Bishop deserves big
thanks.
FC Comments
Advised no use of cell phones while driving
on Base.
Presented Certificates of Acceptances to:
Darren Asuncion, Bob Murphy, Rich Walker, and Mike Ross.

Presented thank you notes from kindergarten and 1st grade over Coastie
visiting. Reminder to send in hours. Activity sheets are online.
Fritz M., Marine Safety & Enviro Svs. -
Incident Command System Training will be offered April 28, 2007 12:00 to
5:00 p.m. on Base. Good for three years. Can get some training from FEMA
online.
IS 700 training needs to be done online.
Maaike Myers, Public Affairs & Publications
- Newsletter, ComFish booth, and will make signs, with special issue
newsletter for Crab Fest.
Old Business
ABC classes - 4/21 is next one.
New Business
UPV now 5 hours and held 04/24/07.
Incident Command Systems training is
04/28/07.
Powerpoint & web design training available
05/03 through 05/07/07.
05/05/07 go meet other people from other
flotillas here for training.
05/20/07 Ops training. Let Bob know if
interested.
Member & Visitor Comments
Pete Malley talked about the Wounded Warrior
Project. This year they are looking at 30 wounded men and women, 6 to 8
per week, 4 different groups to travel 07/18/07 through 08/18/07.
Looking for any kind of help including suggestions. Will be hosting
dinners, providing deckhands and transportation. Call 486-8252 to
volunteer.
Bob Hough said KSS could loan a van. Captain
Carmel said to be sure to tell the Admiral what we are doing.
Sharon Reppond had a thank you letter from
Head Start, 1 of 4 schools presented to.
Bob Hough passed on
comment that crew members need an ABC class during ComFish.
Thanks to Printmasters for all the copies
they've made.
