Called to order @ 8:42 a.m.

Introduction of Visitors & New Members
Recognized Tad Morris & Tammy Amberg for receipt of membership plaques

FC Introductory Remarks & Announcements
FC Lee read Mission and Vision of USCG Aux. Leadership training for anyone who would like to advance, C School in Anchorage 9/21-9/24. Valuable for doing a leadership position, not just Aux but other things in life. You pay and they will reimburse.

Approval of Minutes
Motion to accept Minutes by Mike Amberg with second by Maaike Myers

Staff Reports
Idea to do temporary box at Pasagshack just for 4th of July or a 4 by 4 to hang the jackets on. Maaike would make a sign. Joy questioned whether there was a punishment or fine for not wearing and suggested publishing something close to that weekend.

Old Harbor needs a second box.

Susan needs hours and can go all way back to ComFish. Estimate how many people walked by the booth in an hour and multiply by the number of hours worked. Hours are what helps Aux get funding. Suggestion to Mike Amberg to pass around sheet each meeting with date, number of hours and if public appeared, then how many people.

Susan will be attending training in September.

Suzanne reminded dues are to be paid at September meeting. Must be in before 12-31-06.

Lots of discussion on what to do with Coastie but we need actual follow-through. George will transport to CG Day 8-5 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Need volunteers for shifts.

Reminder of need to elect new FC.

New Business
Question re summer social. Will make it our August meeting at the Base Bowling Alley on a Saturday afternoon 1:00-4:00 p.m. FC Lee to provide hot dogs & burgers, members bring side dishes. Invite prospective members.
