Meeting was called to order.

Approval of Minutes

Minutes approved by Mike Amberg with second by Sandi Nedrow.

Introduction of Visitors and New Members

Flotilla Commander Comments

FC mentioned the ABC class was going to take place at 9:30 am. Should have one 3 or 4 times a year with this being the first one.

Awards were presented to Suzanne Jensen - 5 year award, Luke Nymeyer - 5 year, Monte Nedrow - 5 year, Susan Nymeyer - 2nd certificate of training, and Joy Ng - membership.

There was some discussion about McDonald's coupons.

Staff Reports and Comments

1. Susan mentioned that the website is up. Be sure and give hours and activity logs to her.

2. Suzanne gave financial report.

3. Mike OPS waiting.

The boxes need to be put out. 3 of them are ready to go. Wes and Dave will help Mike. There was discussion about possibly having a knot tying contest. Need to have a kids don't float picture posted.

Mark talked about life-vests and that there is a need for more infant and youth sizes. An e-mail was sent and we are waiting to hear back from the lady. Chris Otto talked about life-vests. Port Lions, Old Harbor, Ouzinkie have boxes. Susan mentioned that Olga thanks people for the fish that was given to them and would like to have visitors, but do call first.

Old Business

Today is the first ABC class at 9:30am. Pictures need to be taken of new members. Paper work is done. George, Mike, Mark, and Wes will get the boxes with infant, youth, child, adult life vests.

Dues: there was discussion about increasing the dues. Doing it by increments - $40. This next year and increasing it up to $50.

New Business

Crew certified. Putting the boxes out. Crab Festival parade. Might have Coastie. Have the float like last year.

Next meeting is scheduled for May 13, 2006 at 8:30am at the Galley.
